  • Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) December 25, 2014 - Grand Park has once again successfully organised fifth Charity Tree Decoration competition for celebrating the festival of trees. In the "Festival Of Trees" some non-profitable organisation take part every year at Grand Park. This year 12 non-profitable organisation registered themselves for the "Charity Tree Decoration".

    This year like the previous year at Grand Park many people actively took part in the event to make it a historical repeat of the successful event. This year these 12 non-profitable organisations participated in the tree decoration competition are: Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center, Children in Crisis, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, Building Homes for Heroes, Emerald Coast Relay for Life, Junior League of the Emerald Coast, The ARC of Walton County, Children's Volunteer Health Network, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, Alaqua Animal Refuge, Heart Animal Rescue and Horizons.

    In the event judgement was done under two categories namely: Best of show and People's choice. In the Grand park participated organisations displayed their decorated trees on 25th December and at 6 p.m. the gathered people voted for the people's choice best decorated tree and on the bases of the votes at the end the sponsors declared the winners for both categories that is Best of show and People's Choice. The first and second place winners were rewarded with the cash prizes of total worth $5000. The decorated trees are kept for display till the Christmas for the public.

    The entry to the event was free of cost and many people participated in the event with their families. They enjoyed the event and the public gathering by seeing and voting the best decorated tree. Even in the event Abrakadoodle has provided the stall for face-painting, many kids painted their faces and enjoyed the festive season.
