  • (1888PressRelease) March 21, 2011 - Tampa, FL - Fetching Communications, a full-service public relations agency serving the pet and veterinary marketplace, continues to grow with the addition of Liz Lindley as manager of the client services team and the promotion of Katherine Brandenburg to lead agency development and strategic relations.

Fetching Communications owner Kristen Levine leads a team of passionate marketers and pet lovers servicing clients in Israel, Australia, and the US including the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists, Sherpa Pet Group, Litter Kwitter, ASPCA Pet Health Insurance and more. "We've developed our team specifically to allow us to deliver top quality communications programs that generate results for both product and service businesses," said Levine from her Tampa office. "Pet services and pet products are essentially niches within the pet/veterinary niche, so highly specialized expertise in each of those areas is imperative."

Lindley, based in Harrington Park, NJ, will manage Fetching's public relations team nationwide and provide strategic advice to Fetching's clients on branding, media relations, website content, and social networking.

Lindley is a public relations expert who has managed corporate, education, professional services, and PR agency accounts for more than 15 years. Most recently, Lindley worked for a legal PR agency, expanding its services and its publicity team, and increasing client retention and satisfaction. She is skilled in social media marketing, website content development, search engine optimization, and all forms of traditional and Web 2.0 media outreach. In addition, she has served as a crisis communications counselor for clients before, during and after sensitive situations. Lindley earned her BA from the University of Virginia and her Juris Doctorate (JD) from Emory Law School.

In her new role Brandenburg will lead business development in the U.S. and abroad, and build strategic relationships within both the pet and veterinary arena. Brandenburg is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

A marketing and communications executive with more than 15 years of experience representing national consumer product, technology, and publishing firms, Brandenburg has received multiple awards from the Public Relations Society of America, American Marketing Association, and International Association of Business Communicators. She is passionate about the effectiveness of communications campaigns (a byproduct of her recent completion of her MBA in International Business from the University of Nebraska-Omaha) and social media marketing. A savvy media relationship builder and counselor, Brandenburg is also the author of a number of training materials for other marketing communications professionals, including a column in the PMA Newsletter and the Publicity Success Workbook and Marketing Success Workbook.

Fetching Communications, founded in Tampa, FL in 2003, is a marketing communications company that focuses exclusively on veterinary, pet and animal-oriented products and services. Now representing more than 20 companies and organizations stretching from the United States to Australia, Fetching Communications has entrenched itself as a leading agency for the $47.7 billion annual pet product and pet supply industry.
