Family Promise to Host an Evening in Paris

  • Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) November 03, 2015 - Family Promise of Greater Denver is hosting its annual Warming Ways For Winter Thursday evening, Nov. 12.

    The Paris-themed event will honor hundreds of volunteers who support families experiencing homelessness in our community. The occasion will also recognize the nonprofit's 18 years of history through a soup dinner, silent auction and paddle raiser.

    "This is an opportunity to reflect on the people we serve and the volunteers who make it all possible," said Executive Director Jolynn Snyder. "Warming Ways For Winter is one of our largest fundraisers, and we are excited to welcome Family Promise friends and supporters as our guests for the evening."

    Warming Ways For Winter will be held at Temple Emanuel Denver at 55 Grape St. Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the silent auction as well as appetizers, beer and wine. The soup dinner, volunteer recognition and paddle raiser will begin at 7 p.m.
