  • Wilmington-Newark, DE-MD (1888PressRelease) April 19, 2023 - EvonSys a pioneer in Low-code space, announced the release of their latest module, a Slack integration, now live on the Mendix Marketplace. The module is designed to significantly improve communication and collaboration within the Mendix application, enhancing the already impressive suite of tools available to users.

The visionary Slack module developed by EvonSys reduces integration time for developers, who can easily download and enter the User Token, streamlining the process of incorporating Slack into Mendix applications. Anticipated to bring exceptional results for both the company and its clients, a new addition has been announced.

"We are excited to see the continued innovation and development of the Mendix platform, and we are proud to be a part of it," says Punna Paramasivan, CTO of EvonSys. "Our new Slack module offers a more streamlined and efficient way of communication, enabling our clients to achieve even greater success."

Effective communication and collaboration are key drivers of innovation and success in today's fast-paced business environment. As Derek Roos, the CEO and co-founder of Mendix, explains, "At Mendix, we believe that business and IT teams should be empowered to build and deploy applications faster and with fewer resources, accelerating digital transformation initiatives and driving business innovation."

The new module for Mendix on Slack provides a variety of features such as creating new channels, sending, and scheduling messages, deleting chat messages, adding and removing users, renaming existing channels, setting new topics for channels, and viewing the profile information of the user who created the Slack account. To access these features, users are required to download the module from the Mendix marketplace and install the Community Commons module.

The module has specific roles such as Administrator and User to ensure security, which can be assigned from the Project Module. Following installation, the configuration page requires users to add a User OAuth token, which can be obtained by creating a Slack account.

The EvonSys team expressed delight in offering this innovative new module to the Mendix community and invited users to try it out for themselves. "We are committed to delivering the highest quality solutions to our clients, and we believe that this new module will help them achieve even greater success," says Paramasivan.
