  • New York, NY (1888PressRelease) June 24, 2013 - In recent years New Jersey seems to be known more for hair gel than talent but all that is about to change this week when pop singer/songwriter Erin Bowman releases her second single "King Boy". Written by Erin Bowman and Henry Hey, "King Boy", available now on iTunes, tells the story of finding a man good enough to be the King to your Queen.

This week Sirius XM has added "King Boy" to its rotation. The song is currently being played nationally on Sirius Radio Channel 3: 20 on 20. "I'm so excited and so grateful for all of Sirius XM's support," says Bowman.

As an independent artist, Bowman burst onto the scene last year when her first single "Problem" debuted at #78 on the Mediabase Top 40 Airplay chart. She spent the summer on a radio promo tour and the fall on her "School of Pop" tour. Her songs have been featured on such hit shows as Bad Girls Club, Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, Styl'd, Brooklyn 11223 & Basketball Wives LA.

"King Boy is all about finding that boy who's good enough to sit on the throne next to you," says Bowman. "It's a girl power song but it's also for the boys, every boy wants to feel like a King."
