    Jones, a 21-year-old from Chesapeake, Va., won the title after a competition that started with twenty-two dance contestants. "EJ" won cash, prizes, and support from; Abejon Photography, Dance Karma Entertainment, DDO Artist Agency New York, Onelife Fitness, Texas Roadhouse, and Post Net. He outlasted his opponents in seven dance challenges designed to prepare the contestants for a professional career as a dancer.

    Jones is a Business Major student studying at Old Dominion University, and Tidewater Community College.

    During a challenge called "A Magical Story" EJ was chosen to be the choreographer and speaker of his group and said, "As dancers we all are one and we've made a lot of friends here even in our own different styles it all brought us together."

    EJ is excited to use his title as "The American Dance Legend" to be a positive role model of today's youth. Seton Youth Shelters is the charitable organization that EJ is passionate to partner with in efforts to change lives and build futures for youth who don't possess food, clothing, or a roof over their heads.

    Jessica Williams was the 2nd place winner, and Joseph Comeau was the 3rd place winner.

    The young dance contestants ages 14-26 participated in four television episodes and were selected from a two city open call audition tour.

    Recording artist, choreographer, and actor, Karma Butler is the creator, host, and Executive producer of the television series "Karma Butler's American Dance Legend." Butler created the television series to allow young entrepreneurs of dance the opportunity to become dance professionals and network with entertainment industry and media professionals while being featured television dance stars.

    The panel of judges included choreographer Lisa Wallace, dance instructor Jonathan Green, dancer Blake Robinson, and producer Karma Butler.
