These promotions are designed to help homeowners replace their windows and doors with new energy efficient ones while receiving the most value for their investment.
AVI's first promotion offers consumers free designer door hardware from manufacturers such as Emtek and Baldwin Hardware, with the purchase and installation of a new entry door. The second promotion centers on the Federal Energy Tax Credit, ending on December 31, 2010, a part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Homeowners can earn up to a $1,500 tax credit for replacing old windows and doors with new, more energy efficient ones. New windows and doors must be installed by December 31, 2010.
"In order for customers to qualify for the energy tax credit, they must choose qualifying windows and provide the correct documentation with their tax return.
