Emergenza Will Rock The Gibus In Paris, France On October 4
The Emergenza Rock Festival brings its competition to Paris' Gibus!
- (1888PressRelease) September 21, 2013 - The Gibus was built in 1967 and over the years it has become a legendary figure. It is considered the cult place for music in France. It has not lost an ounce of prestige since its opening. Many of musics legends have graced the Gibus' stage including Iggy Pop, James Brown, Deep Purple, Telephone, The Sex Pistols, Les Rita Mitsouko, The Clash, Police, Johnny Thunders, Chuck Berry, Patti Smith Justice, BB King and many more!
Emergenza is the world's largest and most famous festival for up and coming unsigned rock bands. The festival holds events each year in more than 150 cities around the globe. The events are all held in knockout rounds. The first rounds are decided by the votes of the attending audience. The vote is open and audience members can vote as many times as they wish and for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are decided by a professional jury panel of judges.
The bands take to the stage for 30 minute sets. National winners are chosen for each country. National winners are flown at Emergenza's expense to Germany for the international finals. The international finals are held each August at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. Bands who make the international finals have the honor of sharing the stage with some of the world's biggest music acts. The international winner is crowned the "Best Band in the World" and wins a tour, studio time, promotion, musical instruments and more.
Nine bands will be competing at the Gibus; R&B band The Lullaby's, rock band Unknown Trash, Chanson band Cyprès, hard rock band XILIUM, pop rock hip hop band Signature, gospel band Etles, heavy metal band BIP, rock metal band, Harfang and hip hop band Les Diplomic'.
