Emergenza Is Bringing Its Rock festival To The Gibus On November 13 & 14

  • (1888PressRelease) October 08, 2013 - Since its opened its doors back in 1967, the Gibus has become a legendary figure in Paris. It is a cult place of rock that has kept its prestige and reputation throughout the years. Its stage has been graced by legends such as Iggy Pop, James Brown, Deep Purple, Telephone, The Sex Pistols, Les Rita Mitsouko, The Clash, Police, Johnny Thunders, Chuck Berry, BB King and many more.

    Emergenza is the world's largest rock festival for up and coming unsigned bands. It holds events each year in more than 150 cities around the world. It features up and coming bands from across the globe.

    The festival is held in elimination rounds in different countries throughout the year. In the first rounds the bands that advance are decided by the attending audience. The vote is open and the audience can vote as many times as they want and for as many bands as they choose. The final rounds are decided by a profession jury panel of judges.

    All national winners are flown at Emergenza's expense to Germany to compete in the international finals. The Emergenza Rock Festival also covers all expenses for accommodations and local transportation. Bands competing in the international finals will have the honor of sharing the bill and the stage with some of rocks biggest legends. The international winner is crowned the "Best Band in the World" and wins a tour, promotion, studio time, musical instruments and more!

    On Wednesday November 13 two bands have registered to compete; pop rock band The Passer's By and punk rock band Syrose.

    On Thursday November 14 two bands have registered; electro rock band Sup'R Novae and metal band Sernes.
