Emergenza Brings its Rock Festival to Germany's Astra Kulturhaus

  • (1888PressRelease) June 21, 2013 - The Astra Kulturhaus is located at Revaler Str. 99 in Berlin. In no time, the Astra has established itself as one of Berlin's most important event and party places and presented to the city hip artists.

    On July 26, 2013 ten bands will take to the stage to compete in the Emergenza Rock Festival. The bands will compete in 30 minute sets of original music. Each bands goal is to move on in the finals and in the end represent their country in the International finals. Bands scheduled to perform are: alternative rock band HucklebarryHelen, Funky band The Hoo, melodic rock band Transit Express, pop band Felice & Band Pop, pop rock band Set It Right, pop rock alternative band Nachpiloten, punk rock band CocoloRes, rock band 54 Fingers, rock band Barking Cats and rock band Flagship Renegades.

    Emergenza is the world's largest festival for unsigned bands, with concerts in more than 150 cities around the world. It features up and coming bands from across the globe. It is held in elimination rounds in different countries throughout the year, whereby the bands that advance are selected by the audiences that hear them. A professional panel of judges chooses the winners at regional and final concerts.

    For each band entered in the festival the goal is to represent your country in the International finals. The international finals are held in Germany on August 11, 2013 at the Taubertal Open Air Festival. The bands who reach the Taubertal Open Air Festival share the bill with some of the biggest names in rock. The winner of the event is crowned "The Best Band in the World!"
