  • (1888PressRelease) January 04, 2012 - The northern Virginia based Ember Development, LLC has completed beta testing and announced the formal product launch of the Ember Opportunity System (EOS), a cloud-based proposal management web application.

    The EOS suite, a software-as-a-service (SAAS) offering that uses advanced reporting techniques and an incredibly flexible data structure to streamline the proposal writing process, is one of the first tools of its kind to be entirely cloud-based in its implementation. EOS looks to contend directly with software giant Microsoft (SharePoint), the popular GovWin system, as well as smaller firms Privia and Qvidian in an incredibly competitive market.

    The entire system is available for implementation at a modest yearly cost, significantly cheaper than the aforementioned solutions. The price difference should allow the target customers, small to mid-sized government contractors, to streamline their proposal campaigns, gain new business, and cut operating costs all at once.

    Mr. Gokaldas later noted the software played a critical role in their proposal development campaign for the Defense Intelligence Agency's National MASINT Organization (NMO) Enterprise Support Services (NESS) contract. A contract which the company was later awarded.
