  • Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) December 22, 2010 - On Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 5pm, Emagine Entertainment, Inc. invites metro Detroit to a grand opening charity event benefiting the Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan®, at their newly renovated 10-screen theater in Rochester Hills. Guests will be welcomed with family entertainment, and enjoy food stations from a variety of local restaurants before the official ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:30pm. The theatre opens to the public on Wednesday, December 22, 2010.

    With the opening of the 45,000 square foot Rochester Hills facility, spending $4.5 million on renovations, Emagine will operate 66 screens in five metro Detroit locations. Their newest venue offers 1,900 seats featuring cutting-edge technology in projection and sound. Each auditorium includes stadium seating, wall-to-wall screens, digital projection and sound, plush high back rocking chair seats with cup-holder armrests, and minimum 48" row spacing. In addition, four of the auditoriums offer REAL 3D technology. All 10 auditoriums offer special luxury seating - high back leather seats with over 4.5' of leg room!

    Emagine Rochester Hills joins Emagine Novi, Emagine Canton, and Emagine Woodhaven as one the most innovative theatres in the area. Emagine Rochester Hills' movie-goers will enjoy a full service concession stand with unique gourmet options: Crust Pizza & Wine Bar's hand-crafted, made-to-order artisan pizzas - and Poppin' Olive popcorn cooked in health-smart olive oil, in addition to offering popular movie-going fare like nachos, popcorn served with real melted butter, candy and soft drinks.
