  • (1888PressRelease) April 12, 2013 - EFM Health Clubs have continued their 2013 revenue blitz with another healthy single month revenue increase of 1.7% in the month of March. The revenue increase relates to public memberships, which accounts for approximately 60% of EFMs overall membership revenue.

Speaking of the remarkable fast start to the year, EFM Managing Director Mr. Matthew Lindblom was full of praise for the organisation's Franchisee group.

"Our franchisees work extremely hard to deliver the very best personal fitness coaching programs for members. The strength of our brand has always been our tailored fitness programs and our team of Franchisees and Fitness Coaches are experts in that area."

Although starting 2013 with a very optimistic outlook, even Mr. Lindblom has been taken by surprise by such a significant revenue spike.

"January is a peak time for the industry as a whole, however for a 21 year old company to grow at the rate we have, without adding any new sites in the same period, is startling."

Mr. Lindblom cited a combination of a sound marketing strategy and the continued focus on helping Franchisees to be better able to convey the features of EFM Health Clubs' personal fitness coaching programs to potential members as two key reasons for the growth.

"A significant portion of our Franchisees are expert Personal Trainers and Fitness Coaches and many start with us with little or no experience with sales and marketing. They know precisely how to get excellent health and fitness results for members, but not necessarily how to convey that during the sales process."

"At a corporate level, we have made a significant investment over the past 24 months in engaging a sales consultant to help our Franchisees improve their sales skills. We are clearly starting to see the flow-on effect of that investment now."

"At a head office level, we feel great satisfaction in developing expert Personal Trainers into well-rounded business owners. Our Franchisees work very, very hard to deliver health and fitness results for their clients, so they deserve to be rewarded with a thriving business."
