Vagabondage Press launches Crossroads, its new line of literary fiction shorts and novellas with the haunting novelette, CHILDREN, from Canadian author, Maggie Clark.

CHILDREN is a chilling tale of new technology, old grievances, and ageless crimes: When a missing child case collides with a mysterious website in Chris' old haunt, the arts beat, office politicking stifles her quest for understanding at every turn. Chris can't shake the feeling of futility dogging her every move. In a world of increasing uncertainty, what passes now for inner strength?

"CHILDREN is a deftly woven tapestry of beautiful language, haunting imagery and tension," says editor, Fawn Neun. "Ms. Clark is an emerging talent to watch. We're proud to expand the availability of fine short literary fiction in digital format. It's been a great pleasure to bring Maggie's moving and thought-provoking work to readers world wide."

MAGGIE CLARK was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and attended the University of Waterloo, where she completed a joint honours in Political Science and English Literature, spending two years as full-time Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper. Maggie has since seen her first play read at the 2010 Magnetic North Theatre Festival, as well as having on-going writing opportunities emerge in film.

VAGABONDAGE PRESS, publisher of the arts and literary journal, The Battered Suitcase, aims to bring literary fiction and literary quality genre fiction to the digital market.

CHILDREN will be released on April 26th, 2011 and will be available at all major digital book retailers for download, including Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, Sony, and OmniLit, as well as on the Vagabondage Press website at www.vagabondagepress.com

Review and promotional giveaway copies in digital format are available upon request. Ms. Clark and Vagabondage Press welcome your inquiries for review copies, promotion giveaways, interviews and guest blog appearances.
