Professor of Archaeology at the University of Mumbai will be in New Delhi on January 3, 2016 to address a select gathering of food enthusiasts at Kunzum Cafe in Hauz Khas Village. The talk titled 'Food Tales From Then And Now' will be the first in a series where Dr. Dalal will discuss human history over the past 200,000 years through food habits and trends that shaped the past centuries.

The event is being organized by CaL Media Pvt. Ltd. in association with Kunzum Cafe. Dr. Dalal will share his research on food cultivation, preparation and cooking that will take the participants from over two lakh years ago to as little as two hundred years ago.

"Human civilization has been shaped by the availability of food. At this talk, I wish to take people on a journey through time and space with me via the eating habits of our ancestors across the globe and specifically in the Indian sub-continent. The aim is to recount the histories of our food patterns and choices based on archaeological, historical and anthropological data," says Dr. Dalal.
