    Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram is an advisor to many Colleges and Universities in Asia on academic matters, including curriculum development and design and accreditation. Currently, he is an advisor to International University of Japan. Earlier, he counseled with Amrita and NMIMS universities in India. His insights into growth and development of Asia, including China, Japan and India have been well received. He has been an invited keynote speaker in many important conferences, including the forthcoming conference on "Challenges of Development in the 21st Century: Asian Perspectives," in Japan.     Dr. Gurumurthy Kalyanaram is an alumnus of MIT. He got his doctoral degree from MIT in Management Science and Industrial Organization Economics, and he has served on several important MIT committees including its Alumni Board, the Technology Day Committee, Enterprise Forum Board and the Institute's Visiting Committee.
