Dirk Warzecha appointed Chief Operating Officer at RWE Dea AG

  • (1888PressRelease) January 02, 2013 - In this position, he is the successor to Ralf to Baben, who retired from active duty effective as at 31 December 2012.
    Warzecha has been a member of the Board of Management of RWE Dea AG since 1 November 2012; prior to this, he had been engaged as General Manager of RWE Dea Egypt in Cairo. Since he joined the Group in 2003, Warzecha was engaged in various managerial functions at RWE Dea – amongst others, as Head of Reservoirs and of the Holstein Production District. Before the petroleum engineer joined RWE, Warzecha spent ten years working at Preussag Energie GmbH, where he was in charge of projects in Germany, Tunisia, Venezuela and Ecuador, amongst other locations.
