Diljith Takes the Honor as the First Etios Motor Racing Trophy Champion

  • Indianapolis, IN (1888PressRelease) September 18, 2013 - Diljith became the first championof the Toyota Etios Motor Racing Trophy which was held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on the 14th& 15th of September, 2013. Akhil Rabindra and Varun Anekar finished in the second and third places.

    The inaugural race of Toyota Etios Motor Racing Trophy saw EMR take to the National Racing Championship for the first time and ace drivers Diljith & Arjun Narendran won the first round of the EMR Trophy.In all, there were four EMR Trophy races during the fifth leg of the National Racing Championship which along with the scores of the inaugural trophy (held in Chennai), gave EMR its first ever trophy champion. The winners of each individual race in all four races received a trophy and a cash prize. The best three EMR trophy drivers will be entitled to race at the Toyota Vios Cup, a single make race conducted by Toyota Racing Development (TRD) in Thailand this year.
