Let us brief you a bit about this Independent Voluntary Organisation ( Reg. Under 671 of 2000- Uttarakhand state under society’s reg. Act / 21 of 1860)
SETU Foundation
Organization is which working for social changes in Garhwal region of Himalayas in North India Since the year 2000 and is progressively trying to be a part of India’s growing voluntary support to social development. They actively contribute their complete efforts in the below fields:
• Medicinal plant cultivation
• Women Empowerment
• Solid Waste Management
• Disability
• Disaster relief
• Child Health
• Gender issue and
• Death-Birth Registration respectively.
They are also involved in various events and activities such as ANUNAAD, Income generation, Health and sanitisation which ensures to spread the goodness towards their self and society welfare.
Their motivational tagline “No better dharma than kindness” ignited a spark in us to join them. A very small way to give a bit towards the welfare of society which will keep us contented and emotionally satisfied.
How DesignerPeople play its role for the society:
We decided to contribute certain part of project profit as force for bringing smile on faces of children’s at SETU foundation who are specially privileged and bringing some welfare towards society. Our effort is also indirectly bringing in the participation of our clients which is also giving them a sense of fulfilment and emotional connect to society.
Along with our niche expertise in packaging, branding and digital marketing for 17+years now we decided to shift some profit of our design expertise towards social welfare which is least what we can do for goodness of our country people. We feel there are always small ways to help others if we identify those opportunities then you get a chance to be a change maker without actually going on field. SETU foundation is one of such opportunity which is allowing us to be part of it and do our bit.
