Dawn Bergren Joins Cushman & Wakefield as Project Manager

  • Bergen-Passaic, NJ (1888PressRelease) July 24, 2013 - Dawn Bergren of Mercerville, NJ, has joined Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.'s Corporate Occupier Services (CIS) practice in East Rutherford as a project manager, announced Kim Brennan, senior managing director, New Jersey region. In her new position, the Trenton, N.J., resident is supporting Cushman & Wakefield's brokerage and property management professionals in meeting their clients' construction-related requirements.

    Bergren comes to Cushman & Wakefield with 12 years of experience on more than $75 million worth of commercial real estate projects. Her expertise covers the full range of project and construction management services, including contract negotiations, budget control and CPM scheduling services for traditional, design-build and fast-track projects; interior fit-outs; and renovations and ground-up construction for office, industrial and specialized buildings and spaces.

    "Our Project Management Group has more than doubled its involvement in tenant space build-outs over the past 18 months," noted Cushman & Wakefield's Eileen Carey, managing director of Corporate Occupier and Investor Services for the New Jersey/Connecticut region. "We recognized that the addition of seasoned, knowledgeable professionals like Dawn is the key to maintaining this momentum."

    Bergren previously worked as a project manager for Jeffrey M. Brown Associates and Damon G. Douglas Company. During her tenure at these companies, she completed work for Mack-Cali Realty, CNBC, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, MONY Life Insurance Co. and Novartis Pharmaceuticals, among many others. She earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
