  • (1888PressRelease) March 21, 2011 - At the 10th annual VegFest at Seattle Center's Exhibition Hall, March 26-27, Dave's Killer Bread (DKB) will be making digital history again. The healthy organic bakery will be giving away QR Code Temporary Tattoos to attendees that when put on skin can be snapped with a smartphone camera to reveal that they won one of three things: a loaf of DKB or a DKB t-shirt or the "GRAND PRIZE GOODIE BAG" that will be stuffed with tasty, healthy loafs of bread and a variety of cool DKB swag.

"This is going to be fun! We are testing the QR-Code technology in conjunction with our proven marketing strategies: getting the bread into peoples' mouths and connecting with our customers through Facebook and other social media," says Dave Dahl of Dave's Killer Bread. "QR Codes are actually another form of social media--and that is what I find exciting about them."

On Saturday, March 26 from 11am-4pm, Dave will be at VegFest to meet with attendees.
