Dave Mathews, former member of Tower of Power, longtime organist with Etta James and currently Santana's Keyboardist and Santana's Front Man and Multi-Grammy Winning Singer Tony Lindsay, bring a star studded tribute to Ray Charles to George's Nightclub on Feb 17th, 2012 @ 9:00 p.m.

Starring Tony Lindsay, Chris Cain, well know blues guitarist, Glenn Walters, former lead-singer with "The Hoodoo Rhythm Devils" and "The Zasu Pitts Memorial Orchestra" and Deszon X. Claiborne this show will be one to remember.

Dave Mathews, a known pianist and the current keyboard player with Santana, has appeared on seven of Etta James' recordings, such as Life, Love and the Blues (Grammy nominee), Heart of a Woman (Grammy nominee) Matriarch of the Blues (Grammy nominee) and Burnin' Down the House Live at the House of Blues (Grammy nominee). Known in the bay area as an eclectic musician with the ability to play many musical styles in an idiomatically correct fashion, Dave has worked and/or recorded with a number of diverse artists.

George's Nightclub has pulled out all the stops and booked the incredible silky, smooth and soulful vocals of Tony Lindsay who is in the Santana lineup. Tony Lindsay has 11 Grammy's on his mantle after spending 20 years as Santana's lead vocalist. He has traveled on several world tours and recorded on seven CDs: Milagro (1992), Supernatural (1999), Shaman (2002), Ceremony (2003) and Food for Thought (2004), Ultimate Santana (2007) and Multi-Dimensional Warrior (2008).

Joining Lindsay is blues guitarist Chris Cain. His jazz-tinged blues soaked guitar and deep warm vocals have the maturity and authenticity of bluesmen many years his senior. His expressive style is the result of a lifetime of study and the relentless pursuit of musical mastery. His passion and intensity are a blend of his mother's Greek ancestry and his father's soulful black heritage.

For this show, drummer Deszon X. Claiborne will be joining them. A Bay Area native, he began his musical career at the early age of 10. Virtually self taught in the beginning, he went on to study with world renown drummers such as Barry Jekowsky, Ralph Humphrey, James Levi, Billy Cobham and Kenneth Nash, an experience which provided him with a strong foundation in jazz, funk, classical, and world music.

Rounding out this powerhouse performance is Glenn Walters. Born to professional musician parents in the Midwest, Glenn began his music career at age 14. After years of touring with many famous Big Bands, Glenn's saxophonist father, Howard, decided to form a family trio with Glenn on drums and vocals and Glenn's mother, Glenna, on Hammond organ. As "The Baronets Trio", they toured most of the U.S. and Canada until Glenn started college in Kansas City, Missouri. While there, he joined "The Kansas City Emeralds", a 14 piece soul band doing the current hits of the day by artists such as Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, and James Brown. Then riding the wave of Psychedelia, Glenn formed "The Mystic Number National Bank", which made one album before dissolving in a purple haze.
