The tranquil backdrop of New Zealand's West Coast, rugged coastlines, and mountainous terrain, serine in the visual sense, yet sinister in reality, are our stage set.

Darryl Tombleson in conjunction with 'Hollywood Films' sets the scene for this apocalyptic franchise drama,(and television series).

As a Reporter I hate 'sugar coating' doom and gloom,whether covering the war torn regions of the world, the rape and pillage of our planet, or the human races need for greed, we are our own worst enemy.

The debate over global warming, intense worldwide political unrest, and our health issues, I believe manifest,unless dealt with, and will become our demise as a species.

Now lets introduce a virus, that progressively mutates, that has no known cure, yet we essentially ignore.

As does the general public, I enjoy putting my feet up, and watching a good television series, but believe me, this is way too close to home.
