  • Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) August 08, 2018 - The Dallas Meditation Center is holding a Free Fall Festival that’s open to the public on Saturday, September 29th, 2018. All are invited and welcome to join the center as we share all we have to offer through interfaith meditation, yoga, Tai Chi, music events, and other mindfulness practices. A full day of events is planned, featuring 20-minute showcases of the services and activities the center offers, with a reading and musical concert led by community leaders, and a closing drum circle as the sun sets.

There will be an evening community celebration with music, chanting, singing, sitting and walking meditation, and a closing circle dance. Tours of the facility will be available between showcases and throughout the day. Attendees are also invited to stop in to the center’s Lotus Room and practice meditation on their own during the day’s activities.

The event is open to all members of the community who are interested in learning more about mindfulness, meditation, and the various classes and activities the center offers. The center, a local nonprofit, has been a fixture in Dallas for over ten years. They offer meditation groups that meet five days a week, Tai Chi, Qigong, beginner’s meditation workshops, yoga, drum circles, speaker events, young adult groups, and more. The Dallas Meditation Center has always offered its classes on a donation basis, never charging a set fee for weekly classes. They will also graciously accept donations at this event.
