If you are ready for adrenalizing spectating and the exciting world of Roller Derby, Dallas Derby Devils is ready to bring it to you! On Saturday April 23rd the Dallas Derby Devils will commence their home season with two back-to-back games at Nytex Sports Centre (in North Richland Hills).
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) April 19, 2016 - With the A-team, Army of Darkness, now ranked 17th by the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) our entire league of five home teams has been training hard to fight for the coveted "Golden Skate Trophy." Come out and enjoy some hard-hitting Derby and be the first to see our amazing new merchandise designs. Enjoy some Sicilian home cooking from ZuRomas as well as beer / wine / cocktails and other beverages. After the games, come back to ZuRomas to join your favorite Devils for an after party.
The Wrecking Crew
In this first game you will see that these gritty ladies never back down. They gave the Golden Skate championship trophy to The Death Row Rumblers in 2014, and are ready to take it back. Bring your gold and blue and be ready to chant "Wrecking Crew!"
The Death Row Rumblers
The Rumblers are determined to be "lifers." With a firm grip on the Golden Skate these last two seasons, and starting with this first game, these habitual offenders are not going to give that trophy an "early release."
The Slaughterers
Playing the Shifters in Game 2, don't be fooled by these ladies in pink. They are ready to jam, block, kill, and chop their way into the 2016 championship.
The Suicide Shifters
Is it easy being green? Just ask their Captain, Angelic Strict9: "We have been working hard, putting in extra hours off skates, and fully intend to get that golden skate!"
The High Sea Hotties
The Hotties have been very busy with extra-curricular skating and training under the leadership of their captains and their incredible coach, Whoa Silla The Killa. After coming in last place in 2015, expect to see them pillage the track this year!
Although the Hotties are not playing on this date, they will be present in full purple regalia and ready to answer all of your questions about Roller Derby and help you explore our newly designed merchandise.

Want to enhance your fun-packed weekend with more Derby? On April 24th at Mid-Cities Skateland in Irving we will be hosting an Underworld Orientation for anyone interesting in joining our great club of athletes and Volunteers. All skill levels are welcomed.

Founded in 2004, the Dallas Derby Devils have been around since Derby's beginnings with some of its original women still skating and competing. Over the last five years, this sport has exploded across the U.S. and internationally. We are a member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) which has grown to 355 member leagues and 81 in the WFTDA Apprentice program. Dallas Derby Devils is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, and a member league of the WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association).
