Teaching some of the fine points of art to local children highlighted David Derr's return to ArtWalk Nyack 2011. The show boasted thirty artists in residence at local businesses during the weekend of June 17 through June 19.
Internationally exhibited artist David Derr returns to ArtWalk in Nyack, NY for the fourth consecutive year from June 17 through June 19. The show's theme is "A Tribute to Edward Hopper," honoring the acclaimed artist as well as the 40th anniversary of Edward Hopper House Art Center.
Exhibited artist David Derr of D2 Studios will be featured for the sixth consecutive year at the renowned GAGA Arts Festival in Garnerville, NY on April 30 and May 1, 2011. GAGA Arts is billed as the lower Hudson Valley's premier arts festival and the 2011 edition certainly should not disappoint the almost 5000 people who attend every year.
The recently released CD "Alas! The Horse is Gone" features the graphic design of local artist David Derr. The album highlights the Manx history and Celtic heritage of the Isle of Man.

All are world premiere events produced by Diverse City Theater Company. Mr. Derr has been the creative director for DCT since its inception five years ago.
