Cushman & Wakefield Arranges 11,000-Square-Foot Lease for Kroll Ontrack Inc.

Computer Data Company will Relocate, Expand within Meadowlands Submarket. End Quote

Bergen-Passaic, NJ (1888PressRelease) March 22, 2012 - Kroll Ontrack Inc. has signed a new, five-year lease for 11,000 square feet at 300 Harmon Meadow Blvd. in Secaucus, announced commercial real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. The legal technologies and data recovery provider will expand and relocate from another site in Secaucus, situated in the Meadowlands submarket.

"Kroll Ontrack wanted to remain in Secaucus because of the strong mass transit system, as well as access to the Lincoln Tunnel and major highways," said Sean Brady of Cushman & Wakefield's East Rutherford, N.J. office, who teamed with Tim Gibson of the firm's New York office, to represent the tenant.

"The company did consider the entire Meadowlands market, and there were a number of opportunities," he said. "Ultimately the location, transportation access and amenity package of 300 Harmon Meadow Blvd. proved to be the difference."

Kroll Ontrack provides a range of services, including data recovery, computer forensics, information management, and more. The Secaucus operation includes data center labs focused on computer forensics, primarily serving the region's legal communities.

Owned by Rego Park, N.Y.-based Samson Management, 300 Meadowlands Parkway is a six-story, 126,000-square-foot office building located near hotels, restaurants, theaters and other amenities. The ownership was represented in the transaction by Frank D. Recine and Michael Marchese of Newmark Knight Frank.

"With Bank of America vacating over 50,000 square feet at the end of 2012, the landlord has put his best foot forward to maintain the quality of the asset while implementing an aggressive concession package for new tenants," said Recine. "The activity has been substantial, and we believe we will have the space spoken for before the end of the year."
