With the opening of these three new stores, Creative Playthings now has a total of 22 retail corporate stores ranging from Boston Massachusetts to Charlotte North Carolina, and a network of affiliates throughout the United States.
Founded in 1951 by two elementary school teachers intent upon keeping children active, Creative Playthings and it's affiliates has grown to be the largest full service retailer of wooden swingsets in the world. Always striving to innovate and improve their products, Creative Playthings pioneered the use of steel reinforcement plates in swingsets and the nylon bushing swing hangers that have become standard equipment on nearly all quality wooden swingsets.
