  • (1888PressRelease) June 28, 2013 - PARIS, FRANCE- Today, in honor of the upcoming Japan Expo set to take place in Paris, Creads is launching their character design contest, which will run from June 27 to July 13, 2013.

The design agency is inviting all artists, professional or amateur, to submit an original character of their own creation. The theme of the contest is simply "Draw What You Want" and participants are free to submit a scanned drawing or one created using a graphics tablet.

"You can submit a design as simple as a princess or a knight, or opt for something more eclectic, like a phantasmagoric animal," said Alexandra Marmoux, Head of Communications at Creads. "What matters is that the design comes from your imagination."

Participants will be able to vote on their favorite designs via Facebook as well as on the Creads website. Three winners will be chosen: one chosen based on the number of likes on Facebook, one with the most votes on the Creads site, and one picked by the Creads in-house team.

Winners will take home prizes from Wacom, leading producer of graphics tablets. Three tablets will be offered: 1 Intuos M Pen Only tablet and 2 Bamboo Manga tablets, which will be awarded to the most popular creations.
