  • Cleveland-Lorain-Elyria, OH (1888PressRelease) August 29, 2019 - Chagrin Falls’ favorite restaurant, Cowboy Food & Drink, is planning a barbecue blowout and a charity partnership with 92.3 The Fan to celebrate its 15th anniversary. The best part is the community gets all the presents!

The big anniversary bash is Saturday, September 14, with super discounts, giveaways, raffles and special surprises. There will be community fundraisers throughout the month of September, meaning everyone benefits from Cowboy Food and Drink’s birthday.

“The community has been supporting Cowboy Food and Drink since we opened, and we want to continue our commitment to giving back,” said General Manager Jimmy Hayward. “We love being a part of Bainbridge Township and can’t wait to celebrate with some food and fun, while also giving back to local charities.”

The restaurant opened in 2004 and the great smell of homecookin’ in the area has never been the same. The 500-pound Southern Pride Smoker churns out barbecue favorites including, but not limited to, ribs, brisket, and of course, signature smokehouse wings that can be smothered with homemade Cowboy BBQ sauces or rubs. Cowboy Food and Drink has also brought a taste of the South to Ohio with its Tex-Mex and All-American food options.

On Saturday, September 14, the juicy $15 specials start flowing at 11:30 a.m. and run until close at 11 p.m. They include:
    • Half-rack of ribs dinner
    • Large house smoked wings
    • Domestic beer bucket
The real rodeo starts at 12 p.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. with gifts for kids and adults. Here’s the roundup of activities:
    • Balloon artist
    • Caricature drawings
    • Bouncy house
    • Dunk tank
    • Games
    • Giveaways & raffles sponsored by 92.3 The Fan (Cleveland’s sports radio station)

Don’t hang up your spurs, so fast, though. Cowboy Food and Drink is not done with its month-long celebration. Each Sunday in September, a portion of each day’s revenues will be donated to a local charity. Partners include Women’s Safe of Chardon (9/8), LifExtrodinary (9/15), Habitat for Humanity (9/22) and United Way of Geauga County (9/29).

Cowboy Food & Drink is located at 8586 E. Washington Street, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023.
