  • Reno-Sparks, NV (1888PressRelease) August 16, 2014 - Phillip A. Crabtree, Bishop and Clergy Leader for Emmanuel Temple, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.

Phillip A. Crabtree began preaching at the age of 14 as a youth leader in his uncle's local church in Stockton, California. Raised in the church by an evangelist mother and missionary, Mr. Crabtree eventually founded Emmanuel Temple 2012 in Stockton, California, specializing in assisting the homeless, educating the community, and finding available resources for those in need.

"As a kid I knew I was a bit odd. When the neighborhood kids were outside playing I was in the house reading the Bible and doing my school work. I always wanted to help the homeless. Not being raised in a very safe neighborhood with my three siblings, I always saw people in need, which gave me the passion to want to help others and give them hope later in life," Mr. Crabtree said.

Mr. Crabtree earned his Master's Degree in Education with Honors from Ashworth University followed by a Doctorate in Theology with a minor in religion with honors. He's an attendee of Masonic Order of Malchezedek and donates to various Nevada homeless shelters, Big Food Bank, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
