- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2013 - Michael Kowalski, who attended the University of Missouri-Rolla for mechanical engineering, and also completed the automotive technology program at Ranken Technical College in St. Louis, began his career as an automotive technician for General Motors. After twenty-two years of service as a mechanic, he decided it was time to open his own independent pre-owned car dealership.
Known for finding showroom quality automobiles and selling them at a competitive price, Mr. Kowalski's 15,000 square foot warehouse is able to keep his vehicles out of harsh weather, yet the company itself is small enough for him to get plenty of hands-on activity, which he enjoys very much. In addition to overseeing his estimated ten employees, he also supervises the mechanics functions and spends a lot of time evaluating which vehicles to buy and how to sell them. He's been the owner of dealership for three years.
"I guess you could say I have old fashioned values when it comes to my work ethic," Mr. Kowalski said. "I am early to rise, I put in a productive day, and am still home to have dinner with my family and get to bed by nine."
Considered to be a very stand-up, hardworking, family man, and good neighbor, Mr. Kowalski also enjoys playing golf and fishing for salmon on Lake Ontario and quality time with his two children, Daniel, 28, and Kayla, 22.
