Zamora, Assistant Professor at Angelo State University, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Manuel F. Zamora's commitment to excellence in Higher Education.

    Manuel F. Zamora, who holds a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, a Master's in Sociology, and a PhD in Social Work, all from the University of Houston, is a certified forensic hypnotist who is now the assistant professor of homeland security at Angelo State University's Center for Security Studies.

    Currently teaching college courses in border and homeland security and criminal justice, Mr. Zamora also partakes in the design and writing of curriculum.

    Also a graduate of the FBI National Academy and numerous leadership schools, Mr. Zamora is a thirty-one year retiree of the Houston Police Department. During those years, he managed strategic planning and logistics for large scale events such as Superbowl XXXVIII, the Republican National Convention, the World G-7 Economic Summit, and various professional sporting events, parades, and demonstrations. He also proudly participated in the emergency response to Hurricane Katrina, Allison, Rita, Edouard, and Ike.

    Mr. Zamora also authored and designed the Houston Real Time Crime Center, a $2 million advanced crime center ranking among the most advanced in the US. Recently, in 2012, he chaired the International Conference on Transborder Narco Terrorism, which attracted researchers, students, police, military, and security personnel from the US and Latin America.

    A member of the FBI National Academy Association, International Association of Chiefs of Police, and West Texas Intelligence, Mr. Zamora contributes much of his time to advancing homeland security education and research
