Kama Rheuark, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in French with a minor in Anthropology, and a second Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, both from Northeastern State University, is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor with over fifteen years of experience in the field.
Now working for a road construction company out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ms. Rheuark oversees payroll and associated reporting, financial statements for management use, and accounts payable and receivable. She also keeps track of information necessary for their yearly review by a local public accounting firm and their Work-In-Progress and Backlog for both their bonding company and their yearly review.
"Working fifteen years in a public accounting setting has greatly helped in my success," Ms. Rheuark said. "The vast differences in the clients that I worked with while in public accounting has given me a huge network resource and also lets me fit in easily in most any setting."
Admitting that she hates math of every kind, Ms. Rheuark does enjoy logic. She has been blessed with some wonderful trainers and bosses over the years that have demonstrated how you can still enjoy work and also have a little fun, too.
Hoping to get into a larger company and spread her wings, Ms. Rheuark is a quick learner and truly enjoys what she does for a living. She hopes to continue in accounting until retirement.
Ms. Rheuark is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers, and the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
