  • Cleveland-Lorain-Elyria, OH (1888PressRelease) August 19, 2015 - Jeffrey J. Reding, Chief Executive Officer of VidMag Media, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.

In the late 1970's, Jeffrey J. Reding began his career in promotions and public relations. Getting his feet wet by doing photography shoots of bands for their publicity for several years, he then started his own music magazine, Moderne Musik, as editor-in-chief in 1981.

All these years later, Mr. Reding is still doing band publicity, as well as freelance public relations and media relations. Mainly working on social media outlets for his bands, his experience in the industry has served him well. He's been known to conduct interviews with many national touring acts that he's featured on TV, has a knack for selecting music that will last long after it is released, and his photography and videography skills have given him a great ability to pick and frame great shots over the years.

"I have been heavily into music since I was a kid," Mr. Reding said. "I collected records for most of my life. I've always had a burning desire to do whatever I could to help out worthy artists throughout my entire career on the fringes of the music industry."

Mr. Reding served in the US Navy from 1976-78. He holds an AS in Internet Information Systems and Web Design from Remington College and a BA in Communications with a Minor in Public Relations Cum Laude from Cleveland State University. Named Jaycee of the Month by Cleveland West Jaycees in 1980, he was also nominated for the Mayor's Award for Volunteerism through the City of Cleveland, Office of the Mayor in 1991. That same year, Mr. Reding also produced a benefit for the parents of a good friend of his, Stiv Bator of the band Lords of the New Church, after he died in Paris. The benefit resulted in tributes from Iggy Pop and the movie producer John Waters and an obituary from the legendary singer Johnny Thunders.
