Marks, a licensed financial advisor in the state of Florida, started her career in 1983 with her then husband as owner of the Alpha-Omega Hair Transplant Clinic, the first of its kind in Florida. After her husband's passing, she founded DocUmeant, offering writing assistance, design, and publishing in 1999.
Specializing in book layout, cover design, print/distribution, and marketing design, Marks also assists business owners worldwide with website design, branding design, and copy editing.
A published author herself, Marks hopes to revamp her presentations with the additional offerings of seminars and teleconferences to assist new business owners and authors achieve their dreams.
Marks is a member of the Independent Book Publishing Association and Small Publishers Association of North America. In 2012, she was awarded the New York Award in Publishing Consultants and Services by the US Commerce Association, an organization that recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
