  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) February 20, 2015 - Ceasar Garcia, Tribute Artist CNElvis, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.

Ceasar Garcia, who holds a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree from California State University, began his career as an Elvis tribute artist in 2009 after seeing an Elvis Tribute Contest in a casino while on vacation with his wife. What he experienced at the casino quickly became a professional tribute to the King of Rock and Roll.

"I had seen Elvis impersonators on the streets of such places like Las Vegas, but not in this fashion," Mr. Garcia explained. "I didn't realize there was a venue that existed like this to allow performers to express their love and admiration for Elvis Presley and his fans in this way."

Having spent many hours listening, watching film, and studying Elvis's performances, Mr. Garcia gives the greatest amount of respect possible representing and performing as an Elvis tribute artist, as opposed to, in some cases, a caricature representation of the King Elvis Presley.

Noting that he has been a fan of Elvis since he was just a child at the age of about 10-years-old, Mr. Garcia hopes to keep the memory of the great artist alive and introduce new fans to the music and life of Elvis Presley in a positive way. Mr. Garcia said that Elvis was not only a great entertainer, but he was also a gracious human being that graciously gave to many charities anonymously.

Mr. Garcia is a member of Jailhouse Rockers of Southern California since 2010. He earned a Top Ten Award in the prestigious EPXPO in 2010 Worldwide Competition at the Coarsegold Casino in California and a Top 20 Award in 2013 and 2014 at the Heart of the King Contest at The Las Vegas Hilton during the Elvis Festival, a worldwide competition. He also had the honor of performing at the Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway in Palm Springs, California and was a regular performer for The Elvis Presley Estate in Palm Springs, which was one of Elvis's places of residences up to the time of his death.
