Coreland Companies' Brokerage Team Adds Five New Leasing Assignments of Needs-Based Centers

  • Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) January 27, 2015 - Coreland Companies' brokerage division has been awarded five new listing assignments, including two in Los Angeles County and three in Orange County. The properties, totaling more than a quarter of a million square feet, call for a focused effort to reposition and upgrade the existing tenant mix.

    "All of these properties are strong, needs-based shopping centers located within well-established communities," said Matt Hammond, Coreland Director of Retail Brokerage. "We are extremely motivated to work alongside our clients to enhance the existing tenant mix and further strengthen these assets."

    Among the new listings, Plaza on the Boulevard is a 100,000-square-foot Walmart Neighborhood Market-anchored center in Stanton, Calif. In addition to Walmart, co-tenants include Denny's, Little Caesars, Del Taco and Waba Grill. Hammond and Associate Tim Muller will handle the leasing assignment.

    Strawberry Square Shopping Center is an 80,000-square-foot neighborhood center in Gardena. The owner's objective is to reposition the asset by attracting a 10-15,000-square-foot anchor to complement the existing service and restaurant tenants. Senior Associate Ben Terry and Hammond will handle the leasing assignment.

    3033 Bristol is a 40,000-square-foot neighborhood shopping center located steps from The Lab and The Camp in Costa Mesa. The property, strategically positioned a half mile from South Coast Plaza, features recent signage, façade and landscape enhancements. Hammond and Senior Associate Joseph Kim will handle the leasing assignment.

    Additional listings include Placentia Plaza, a 53,739-square-foot shopping center anchored by Northgate Gonzalez Market and located within a dense trade area of north Orange County; and Maywood Village Square, a 50,000-square-foot convenience center in Maywood. Terry will handle the Placentia Plaza leasing assignment and Hammond will represent Maywood Village Square.
