  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) September 12, 2012 - Award winning composer Christopher Lennertz is scoring NBC's highly anticipated new series Revolution premiering Monday, September 17, 2012 at 10:00PM/9:00 PM CST. Revolution was created by Eric Kripke (The Adjustment Bureau), directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man) and produced by J.J. Abrams (Lost) and stars actors Billy Burke (Twilight Saga) and Tracy Spiridakos (Rise of the Planets of the Apes). Christopher Lennertz recorded the score with a full orchestra.

Revolution is based on an American Landscape when one day all power flickers off. After 15 years, a family embarks on a dangerous journey throughout the unknown world trying to solve the mystery of why and if the power will ever return. When asked about the direction for Revolution's music, Lennertz stated, "I decided because of the constant shifting in location I would create a recognizable main theme surrounded by other worldly sounds and shift those sounds as the characters journey continues so even the viewers have no idea where they are."

Christopher Lennertz is an award winning producer, composer and conductor for film, television and video games. Lennertz's success ranges from star-studded comedies including the recent box office hit Think Like a Man and Horrible Bosses to family films including Alvin and the Chipmunks and Hop. His recent video game projects include the finale installment of Mass Effect 3 and the finale installment of Starhawk, which was recorded at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch. His other video game credits include Medal of Honor, James Bond: 007 series and Gun.

Lennertz is back to score the 8th consecutive season of the CW's hit series Supernatural premiering on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 9:00PM/8:00PM CST. He was recently featured on "The Character of Music" panel at Comic Con 2012 with Supernatural producer Todd Aronauer to discuss the impact of music in film and TV.
