Compliance platform CIVAC covers 77 officer roles in one workspace
Hamburg-based CIVAC brings all 77 legally appointable compliance officer roles in Germany into one workspace, combining software with optional appointed officers ahead of the EU AI Act's main application on 2 August 2026.

The Hamburg provider pairs software with appointed officers and moves evidence work into the daily routine before the AI Act date on 2 August 2026. Hamburg, Germany, 11 August 2026. CIVAC, compliance platform and officer-as-a-service, brings the 77 appointable officer roles in Germany into a single working environment. Companies either license the workspace for their own officers or have roles appointed externally through CIVAC. Both routes run on the same evidence trail, the same template library and the same reporting line to the board. CIVAC serves Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The compliance workspace for appointed officers is organised into six surfaces: tasks, trainings, audits, documentation, questions and checks. A library of 905 templates covers data protection impact assessments, supplier audits and NIS-2 incident notifications. An always-on compliance agent drafts policies, prefills security questionnaires and flags overdue obligations, each confidence-scored and source-cited. Five AI checks review the website, obligations and audit readiness. A monthly run consolidates completed tasks, trainings and audit findings into an export-ready record.
Regulatory cadence is tightening. On 2 August 2026 the main application of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 begins, covering obligations for high-risk AI systems (European Commission, 2026). The stop-the-clock directive adopted on 14 April 2025 also postpones the reporting start for the second and third CSRD waves (European Commission, 2025).
