(1888PressRelease) January 19, 2012 - Allied Steel Buildings, a leading supplier of pre-engineered steel buildings in the USA and worldwide is developing a great relationship with the island nation of Aruba. Construction of another project on the island has begun thanks to local representative, Ing. Ulrich Lim-Apo of Limas International. He was contacted for his services by the Fundacion Iglesia Pentecostes of Aruba. Reaching Lim-Apo directly, they had plans to build a new church and needed the expertise of someone who was familiar with building with steel. Lim-Apo aligned them with Allied Steel Buildings to provide the structural steel for the 60'x75'x12' steel building.

The preliminary design was done by architect Greg Lacle. Lim-Apo finished the drawings and assisted with the steel building purchase and building permits. Lim-Apo and Allied Steel engineers also assisted with the design and suggested a column free interior for maximum space usage. The 4500 sq. ft. steel church will ultimately have congregation seating available for 90. An elevated stage, office space, dining room, foyer, private meeting rooms and ample restrooms will fill out the remaining space.

Currently construction on the structural steel is complete, with architect plans to add a masonry block façade to the exterior building. The exterior of the 4500 sq. ft. building will also feature light transmitting panels on the roof to take advantage of natural light and ample windows with a side entrance. Chris Rucker, Director of Major Accounts at Allied Steel noted that this has been the fourth project completed on the island and the most gratifying as it is community based.
