  • Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) November 07, 2019 - Xometry, the US’s largest marketplace for custom manufacturing, is exhibiting at Autodesk University at The Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, NV on November 19 - 21.

Throughout the trade show, customers can expect demos of the Xometry Instant Quoting Engine℠ and the Xometry CAD add-in for Autodesk Inventor. Both the quoting engine and Inventor add-in are able to provide instant pricing and lead times on 11 processes and over 100 materials. Xometry will also have examples of custom parts manufactured through its network, including sample parts manufactured with its newest process, Carbon DLS™. Carbon DLS is a 3D printing technology that uses digital light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to produce products with end-use durability, resolution, and surface finish.

“We’re looking forward to ending our trade show season at Autodesk University,” said Kathy Mayerhofer, SVP of Sales. “We enjoy providing demos of the Xometry Instant Quoting Engine℠ and our Inventor add-in especially to CAD enthusiasts because these designers love the speed and ease of use.”

Xometry offers 11 different manufacturing processes including seven 3D printing processes, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, injection molding, and urethane casting. In September 2019, the company launched Xometry Finishing Services, an online platform designed for customers to source post-processing work for parts that have already been manufactured. Xometry is quickly becoming a one-stop-shop for all custom manufacturing needs from prototyping to production.
