He has served as the Legal Advisor for the Sheriff's Office for most of his career. In 1996, he was appointed Undersheriff, where he was second in command under former Sheriff Charles McCutcheon. Colonel Bradshaw was President of the Florida Association of Police Attorneys from 1994 through 1997 and was sworn in as a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar in 2005.
