  • Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) October 23, 2014 - For the 12th year, ArtWorks, The Naomi Cohain Foundation is hosting a powerful display of the healing power of the creative arts. Hospitalized children from across New Jersey will be singing, dancing, and performing their hearts out on stage as well as seeing their professionally framed visual art in a gallery setting. The event will take place at the Montclair Art Museum on Sunday, November 16th at 1:30pm and admission is free.

    "ArtWorks continues to grow each year and we are so humbled to be able to give these amazing children and young adults, an opportunity to showcase their tremendous talents." said Executive Director, Daniela Mendelsohn. "The children work for months preparing for Express Yourself. It is a day for us all to come together to celebrate the spirit of these young artists."

    The show will feature over 100 amazing murals, paintings, drawings, and sculptures as well as highlight performers featuring singing, dancing, readings, and instrumental compositions. In addition to artwork and performances by our inspiring participants, Express Yourself-NJ 2014 will also include art activities, refreshments, balloon and caricature art for all attendees.
