"HIM", a horror novel that Madkins has been working on for the past few years, is in the final stages of completion. The children's book author has decided to put more of a focus on entertaining her adult fan base after releasing her final children's book, "Mama, Are Hoodies Bad?".

"I've always been a fanatic of horror/thriller movies and want to release books that reflects the passion that I have inside for such genres. I believe that writing books for adults will allow me to show more of my creativity as a writer to my fans," the author explained.

“HIM”, is a book that takes readers into a world of adultery, demonic possession, cannibalism, and revenge. When Madkins was asked how she came up with such a dark plot for the novel, she replied, “I was lying in bed one night and the storyline played in my head while I was in deep thought. I then reached for my phone and started writing the book in the notepad. I continued writing the story on my laptop the next day,”.

Madkins final children's book, "Mama, Are Hoodies Bad?" should be released before the end of Fall. The children's book was written in memory of Trayvon Martin, an African American teenager who was fatally shot by George Zimmerman. There isn't an official release date for "HIM", but her fans can expect the book to make its way to bookstores during the first quarter of 2022.
