Later, James became the music director & lead guitarist for the national gospel play, A Good Man is Hard to Find. Since that time, he has released three albums, entitled: Dreamin' at Midday, Final Destination, and Last Flight Out.

Today, James still lives to play contemporary Jazz, with a touch of Blues for good measure. Living in Mt. Holly, NC, he continues to perform at various local and regional venues.
