  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) May 12, 2012 - Casey's Cupcakes opened its fourth location at the Woodbury Town Center in Irvine, Calif. on April 2, with record-breaking sales and the strongest opening week of all its stores.

On May 5, Casey's Cupcakes' grand opening celebration was packed with people who waited in line to purchase cupcakes and to see the new Irvine store, which is designed with the brand's signature bright splashes of pink, elegant black accents and inspirations of a classic Parisian café with a glamorous Hollywood twist. Patrons posed for photos with Founder Casey Reinhardt and enjoyed their cupcakes, live music and balloon artistry beneath Casey's Cupcakes' bright pink umbrellas.

Reinhardt and her parents, Kelly and Duane Roberts, who are co-owners of Casey's Cupcakes and the innkeepers of The Historic Mission Inn, welcomed and thanked them for their support. Woodbury Town Center's General Manager Sara Allen joined Reinhardt for a ribbon cutting ceremony, and Assemblyman Allan Mansoor presented Reinhardt with a certificate for her role in building commerce and community in the area. "This is the strongest opening Casey's Cupcakes has had of all four of our stores", said Reinhardt, who opened her first store in 2009, when she was a junior at Pepperdine University. "People are starting to know our brand and are excited when we open stores in their neighborhoods. We're already planning the opening of our next store."

Known to millions as the winner of Food Network's "Cupcake Wars", Reinhardt has received many honors, including OC Weekly's Best of 2011 Reader's Choice award for Best Cupcake and accolades for her charity work. She donates a portion of her proceeds to the foundation she started as a teen, the C.A.S.E.Y. Foundation (Children's Alliance for the Success and Education of Youth in need).

With the rapid growth of Casey's Cupcakes, Reinhardt is attracting attention as a young entrepreneur to watch. In just over three years, she and her company have opened four retail stores and placed their cupcakes for sale through Bloomingdale's locations in Newport Beach, Century City, and Santa Monica, Calif. The stores also hold "Decorate Your Own Cupcake" parties and provide cupcakes for weddings, special events and office gatherings.
Sixteen flavors are baked daily and served at all locations, including a gluten-free and sugar-free option. Unique flavors like, Rockin' Red Velvet, Marvelous Milk Chocolate, and Grandma's German Chocolate. All cupcakes are priced at $3.50 each or six for $18.
