    The 24th Annual Trends and Issues in Logistics and Transportation Study will be conducted by Dr. Karl Manrodt, Professor in the Department of Management at Georgia College and State University, and Dr. Mary Holcomb, Associate Professor of Logistics at University of Tennessee Knoxville. The highly anticipated study, which surveys hundreds of industry professionals, reveals the most comprehensive summary of the issues and trends shaping the current state of the transportation and logistics industry. The findings will be reported in the September issue of Logistics Management.

    For the first time, Dr. Manrodt and Dr. Holcomb will also be partnering with the JOC Group, a subsidiary of IHS that include The Journal of Commerce and, to offer an additional survey to expand the breadth of responses from shippers and transportation proviers, adding to the report's importance to industry stakeholders. The report will be released at the Council of Supply Chain Management's annual conference, Sept. 27-30 in San Diego, and covered extensively in The Journal of Commerce and on in September and October.
