Carl recently joined TRANSEARCH following a successful career in the services industry to the mining and resources sector in South Africa, Europe and Canada where he held senior management and executive positions.
Prior to joining TRANSEARCH, Carl was a project manager to the mining sector for a reseller of PRONTO, the accounts management software provider, where he managed the company's largest implementation at an African gold producer. Prior to this Carl managed an international mining & minerals recruiter in the UK for nearly ten years, where he was actively involved in numerous high-profile appointments for senior mining, exploration and construction executives. His involvement in Canada included a corporate expansion into North America through M&A.
Carl holds a post graduate degree in Business Administration (UK), an under-graduate degree in business, a diploma in Civil Engineering and an APSO (SA) qualification; as well as a number of industry specific professional credentials.
