  • (1888PressRelease) May 12, 2015 - Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training, is proud to announce that the winner of the 2015 military spouse scholarship offered in partnership with Army Wife Network is Megan Malone, the wife of a Navy Seal and a junior at San Diego State University. Ms. Malone will receive $2,000 toward the pursuit of degrees in Biology and Public Health.

    "As both a military spouse and first generation college student I cannot be more thankful for the opportunity provided by Career Step and the Army Wife Network," said Ms. Malone.     Ms. Malone was selected through a lengthy review process from among numerous applicants. She is currently working toward a career in global and public health and will be participating in a research program in Nayarit, Mexico this summer. Her goals are to improve the quality of life for needy communities, contribute to the financial support of her family and provide a positive example of perseverance, dedication and the importance of education for her younger sisters.
